About Me:
Timothy Simon is a technical director. Other theatrical interests include lighting and scenic design and projection work. Outside of theatre, he has does video work. Currently he is pursuing an MFA in Technical Direction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
He graduated from Stockton University in the spring of 2018 with a BA in Theatre Design and Production. After graduation he worked as assistant technical director of theatre at Stockton University. While at Stockton, he had the opportunity to design lights for plays and dance concerts, serve as technical director for mainstage productions, design props and projections, and construct scenery for productions. Outside of the theater program, he worked both with the music and dance departments assisting and designing for the own productions throughout the year. He also worked in the Performing Arts Center of the university as an over-hire technician working with many different touring groups from all over the country.
Outside of Stockton University, he spent summers working at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts in Warsaw, Indiana. An 800+ seat in the around theatre producing Broadway-quality shows, where he worked different positions such as carpenter/electrician, master electrician, run crew member for productions. He has also done freelance work in many theaters companies throughout New Jersey.
